Syria

Syria has faced nearly 14 years of civil war, leading to a severe humanitarian crisis. Since 2012, War Child has partnered with local organisations to support young people affected by conflict.

Where we work

We work in partnership with local organisations in 13 countries, together providing emergency support when conflict breaks out, and staying for as long as needed to help children and families recover and rebuild their lives.

Burundi

Burundi is one of the world’s poorest nations. The lasting impacts of 12-years of war and frequent natural disasters have left 1.5 million people in need of humanitarian assistance.

Jordan

There are 3.8 million children under 18 in Jordan, over 40% of the population. Of these, almost 30% are non-Jordanian, including many refugees from neighbouring countries.
