For 30 years, War Child has been working at the heart of the creative industries to raise funds and support children affected by conflict.
War Child has been fundraising through the worlds of fashion and art for over 30 years. It started in 1994, when David Bowie, Brian and Anthea Norman-Taylor curated Little Pieces from Big Stars, an exhibition for War Child. The show not only raised vital funds but also marked the beginning of a legacy embedding creativity at the heart of our fundraising efforts and inspiring decades of bold, artist-led collaborations.
We’re always open to new creative collaborations, and we want to hear from you. Contact War Child’s Creative Industries team at creative@warchild.org.uk with your fundraising ideas.
Why your support matters
Today, our challenge is bigger than ever. Nearly 1 in 5 children are affected by conflict worldwide.
Your support means we can provide life-saving aid when conflict breaks out, and stay to support children through their recovery - keeping them safe, helping them learn and cope with their experiences, and equipping them with skills for the future.
You can help us be there for children who need us most, when they need us most.
One child caught up in conflict, is one child too many.
